and Bicar®FCC sodium bicarbonate, before their use for direct consumption.
Directions:
Wash leafy vegetables (lettuce, rhubarb, spinach, etc.), or fruits with a soft skin,
(Strawberries, cherries, grapes, etc.) in solution, which can very easily be obtained from
adding 1 tablespoon (25 g) of Bicar®FCC sodium bicarbonate to each liter of water.
Leave them in the solution for at least 10 minutes. Then rinse them thoroughly under running tap water.
You will notice that after a few minutes the water will become “cloudy” solution,
clearly indicates that the product has achieved the required result.
• In order to wash vegetables without leaves (such as tomatoes, fennel, zucchini …) or fruits with a hard skin (peach, apricot, etc.), prepare a mixture of sodium bicarbonate Bicar®FCC
and water (1 part water and three parts of the product) and rub directly on
fruits and vegetables with a sponge or with your hands. Then rinse under running
tap water.
